With this photo series, my goal was to capture the small, geometric, and often colorful details of this newly developed area of D.C. I hoped to showcase the lively and bright energy present throughout the Wharf, but I wanted to do so by photographing the precise details rather than the overall scenery. The pops of color, from both natural and man-made subjects, helped to add to the vibrant feeling the entire area gave off.
